On a personal note, when Jason is not engaged in ministry, he like to work on his vintage Willys jeep, astrophotography, going cycling with Allison and spend time outdoors.

Jason was born at Beale Air Force Base in California, his early years were spent in the Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania
Jason attended Grove City College in Western Pennsylvania, where he completed a B.A. in Religion with an emphasis in Applied Physics. It was during his freshman year, when he recognized his need for a personal relationship with God and opened his heart to Jesus Christ. Upon graduation, he applied for a teaching position with Educational Services Exchange to China, a Christian Ministry. He was accepted, moved to Pasadena for training, and then flew to Mainland China where he spent the next year.
Jason’s year in China was life changing, he met his future wife, Allison and friend John Thompson while teaching in Shenyang. While visiting a friend in Beijing during Chinese New Year, he felt called to pastoral ministry on the grounds of the Summer Palace.
After several years of ministering to youth in the Midwest in Michigan and Ohio, Allison and Jason packed up our family of 5 in the summer of 2001 and moved across the country to Vancouver, Canada. Over the next 3 years Jason attended Regent College full time while also doing an internship at Grace Vancouver Church, a church plant in the heart of the city. In 2004, Jason graduated with a Master’s of Divinity from Regent, and we were recruited by the Presbytery of Northern New England to pastor Christ Presbyterian Church in Nashua, NH which was in need of revitalization. Immediately after moving to New England Jason took an interest in the church history of New England in the 18th and 19th Century. Visiting places like Newburyport, Northampton, Williamstown and Northfield gave Jason a passion to share this rich history with others. He has led historical tours and given lectures on the Missional movements of the 19th Century focusing on prayer, revival and missions.
In 2020, Jason completed a Doctor of Ministry in Outreach and Discipleship at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton, Massachusetts.
